Business ThinkTank No.46 - Tinitell

Innovation can derive from combination. Good design can derive from removal of things that's not necessary. This is the device that good innovation and good design meet. Tinitell.

Tinitell is a watch equipped with the phone function for kids. Tinitell will link to their parent's phone to connect them together seamlessly. Parents can track their kids because the device is composed of GPS equipment. Design attracts kids to wear it. It seems they are playing toys and willing to wear it as a cool gadget.

This is not new thing but it's a new way to present the concept to the individual target group. It's answered by Family. Success.

Business ThinkTank No.46 - Digital Touch Micro Donation

At London subway, you can donate your tiny amount of money left in the subway card by touching the device attached on the subway. I may call it 'Micro Donation'. The money of cents can be donated to the box and people might not think lots and perceive it's very small things to give that.

If this concept applies to Thailand, I'll make a device that can deduct the last digit of Rabbit cards and put that amount to the charitable association. Or we join with companies that have their own deposit cards like Starbucks, mPay, TrueMoney.

Micro donation is the area we should consider. Think small doesn't mean Small Money :)

Business ThinkTank No.45 - Solar Cell Phone Booth

The public telephone booth is now obsolete because of the advent of mobile phones. In London, they turn unused telephone booth into solar cell booths to be a beacon for charging devices.

We have look for the unused inventory and try to exploit them somehow. Definitely, in Thailand we have many phone booths standing without utilizing them lots like previously. In addition, we also have taxi stations built but not used. If we can turn these assets into something that can be benefits to people even though it's not free, if really useful they are willing to pay for it!

Remember, remember. No asset values 0!
