There are many festival held in Lille, fortunately, I joined them!
The first festival I participated was New Year. I arrived at Paris on 28 Dec 2009. I spent the joyful time with my senior, hanged out and got shivered together but delightful ^^ Like it. And that was the first time I touched, hugged, kissed snow, especially in Paris!
Then, moved to Lille for study and began attending French Cheese Party organized by Student Association of EDHEC. As an Asian boy, I'm rather not familiar with Cheese but for this meal I had to nod that this new gastronomy experience was very fabulous! Tasty! Delicieux!
Next I joined the Ch'ti festival that happens once a year. Ch'ti is people who were born in North part of France. The region I stayed is Nord-Pas-de-Calais. I was very proud of being a Ch'ti. I took some free food from the booth and enjoyed with them. Afterwards, the open concert forged the crowd together and played the French melody, even though I didn't understand words, the meaning unveiled through rhythm of the music. Music is international language! Yah! C'est ca?
And before nearly return to Thailand, the amusement parks were prevail across Europe, including Lille. I just toured around the fun zone, looked people laughing, breathing the cold fresh, and smiling to myself.
Ah, nice festivals. reminiscent, that's the gift for happy valentine, today.
