Life in Lille -Part 2

The first day in Lille was like a new born to me.

My eye was caught by the aesthetically decorative building and cool environment. I floated my mind along with grand beauty of nature existing in front of me, Snow. I couldn't stand stopping my burning desire to discover the city with the exciting feet.

Having walked and walked, took tons of photos around the city, next day,I got warm welcome from EDHEC student association, OpenUp. They invited me to have a nice dinner with them and joined the small discussion in the small bar. I started to make friends with other international students.

Voila, EDHEC school and supermarkets were also in my range of searching on the day later. I was very excited to begin the semester in France. This was the first time of study overseas to me. Unbelievably, I was standing in Europe? And moreover in France?

I learned how to arrive at school and went shopping in various sort of supermarkets. Each super market was proposing the slight difference in price to their customers. When I surveyed food and household products rowing on shelves neatly, I got stunned with the Euro-based tags seriously.

I called this feeling, Euro sensitive, in the extent to which the sense of buying things is prohibited abruptly while converting prices into local currency. My case is Thai Baht. I chose to have food which were not too expensive. Nonetheless, they were still more expensive than Thailand, except the dairy products like Yogurt, Milk, Bread, Jam, etc. I had to learned and altered my style of having food. Aligning and embracing European food culture into my plate might be a good idea in order to learn their tradition and reduce cost of living somehow.

Hence, elaborating supermarkets in France is noteworthy.

To be continued...
